This off-season, we made a significant number of improvements to the house.

We had the upstairs bathroom completely gutted and replaced the sheetrock, sub-floor, tub, tile, vanity, fixtures, toilet, mirror, paint and trim. It's a huge improvement over the old bathroom, and a pleasant feeling to know everything in there is fresh and new.

Downstairs, because the afore-mentioned tub had overflowed one too many times, we also replaced the ceiling downstairs. We put in a drop ceiling, so that not only will moving wires and making repairs be simplified, but we gained an additional 3 inches of headroom.

Outside, we gave the place a completely fresh new look. By painting the top and bottom half the same color - a beautiful green with white trim and new white shutters - we made the tired looking house into a home that is in keeping with the other houses in the historical district. It looks completely up-to-date and beautiful.

While here, we also gave the place new bedding, shower curtains, rugs, bath mats, spices, remotes, and a good overall cleaning. It's been a lot of work, but worth it. But now, it's time to head back home. We hope our renters enjoy the place as much as we do. We'll be back in September.

Wow! Now that football season is over, the rentals have really picked up. In the last two weeks, we've booked all but three weeks of our summer availability. I guess the wives are finally able to get their hubbies off the couch and in the car to drive down the shore to check out the locations. Since ours is by far one of the best locations on the island, once they see it, they are ready to book it.

If you are looking for a place to stay "down the shore" this summer, selections are starting to run slim. Please let us know if you are interested in one of our remaining weeks as soon as possible.

What a great week we have had! This was not our first time in Beach Haven, but it was our first time in your house.

It has proved to be a perfect beach house. We loved everything about it and appeciated all the space. Have to go back to reality tomorrow. :(

Just arrived. Spending two weeks. This is our fourth year here. We really enjoy our stay here. Outdoor shower - fantastic!! A/C is good. A mixed blessing as some of the younger ones might be included to stay in rather than go out.

We'll be back next year!

Had a great week. This is our 3rd time to your house and we were very happy to find A/C and enclosed shower. Would have rinted in 2004 but we waited too long and ended up in Peahala Park in a dirty cape cod. Weather was great, water just right, and went to all new eating places. Overall a great week. Air didn't work the first day, but between myself, realtor and Mike the Mechanic, we got it fixed. Leak in upstairs tub and/or shower and leaks thru downstairs ceiling. Realtor knows. A roof of some kind would be good from kitchen door to back of deck for rainy days. We know it's hard, but try to keep the prices the same. We should be back in "06". Do you have a website. We hope all your guests will respect your Beach House and it remains clean & comfortable...as we would love to find it in the condition we tried very hard to leave it in!

~Great Layout - downstairs for our son and his firends

~Outdoor shower - Clean & roomy (who doesn't love an outdoor shower at the beach?)

~Barbeque on the Deck - Was lovely, private, breezy, special!

~Centrial Air - Nice treat - a must for us!

~Very spacious for a small house

Would have been good if Bedroom TV was working ...just snow.

But the good far outweighed any small inconvenience.

It is going to be another great summer. Our family was fortunate enough to spend the past month at our "home away from home." While here, we were able to make many more improvements - including those requested by our guests last year. You will find a newly enclosed shower outside, comfortable A/C, fresh paint, new furniture and more.
